This summer, a two-day music festival will be held in connection with the Tall Ships Races event in Turku. Held in Linnanpuisto in Turku, the evening event will be a celebration featuring both international stars and Finnish top artists.

The artists confirmed to perform at the Music Festival are as follows:
The first international artists confirmed are Pet Shop Boys and Hurts, who will be performing on 22 July. Known for its great hits, the pop duo Pet Shop Boys is a long-standing band with millions of sold records, and it has also headlined major Finnish festivals before. Among other events, the band performed as the brilliant main act of the 2015 Flow Festival. The band’s legendary hits include West End Girls, It's a Sin, and Always On My Mind, among other songs. The pop duo Hurts, whose popularity skyrocketed at the beginning of this decade, has also previously performed at festivals in Finland, such as Ruisrock and Pori Jazz. In March last year, the band performed a sold-out concert at Hartwall Arena. The band’s best-known songs include the hits Stay, Better Than Love, and Wonderful Life. Finnish artists performing at the event include Anna Puu Official, Erin, Lauri Tähkä, Irina and Tuure Kilpeläinen & Kaihon Karavaani. Of the performers, Anna Puu, Erin and Lauri Tähkä have already appeared on the popular Finnish television show Vain Elämää, while Irina will be one of the stars featured in the show this year. This star-studded list of performers is completed by Tuure Kilpeläinen & Kaihon Karavaani, who are sure to raise the roof.
